ACT Canada, in partnership with Canada's National Capital Commission, is excited to announce that the Sustainable Mobility Summit 2010 will be held November 21-24 in Ottawa, Ontario.
This four day conference will feature international and Canadian experts speaking on the theme of sustainable mobility as a means of effecting transformative change in urban communities across Canada. It will include a special one-day forum on global best practices in sustainable urban mobility, including a discussion on Canada's Capital sustainable mobility opportunities and challenges.
The Sustainable Mobility Summit 2010 will build on ACT Canada's three successful Canadian TDM Summits held in 2007 through 2009. It will leverage Canada's rapidly growing capacity in transportation demand management (TDM) to allow an expanded focus on policy measures that support economic growth, transportation efficiency and quality of life in our cities.
