Fabos Conference on Landscape and Greenway Planning 2010

Fábos Conference on Landscape and Greenway Planning in 2010 is organised to highlight recent trends in landscape and greenway planning around the world, as well as to expand the literature about greenways. Furthermore, the aim is to explore how landscape architects and planners from different countries have approached greenway planning and to understand how greenways have been tailored to each county's unique geographical, cultural, and political circumstances.
Conference Theme in 2010
Planning for Change: The world is in a state of change, -- socially, economically, politically, and ecologically. From global climate change to urbanization, planners and landscape architects are grappling with unprecedented change as they respond to growing demand for limited resources. This theme underlies each of this year's Fabos Symposium topic areas:
