Walk21 will include a mix of dynamic plenary sessions, workshops, panel discussion and of course, "walk-shops" to get you out into the diverse and exciting neighborhoods around New York City. Evening receptions will give you plenty of time to network with fellow conference goers. And special evening presentations will showcase ways that art, film and culture are being employed to encourage and enhance walking.
The themes for the conference are: more footprints, less carbon, paving with gold, there is more to walking than walking, and fit cities
