This guide is intended to help make our region a place of walkable communities. Section 1 provides background information and defines walkable communities. Section 2 covers what is involved in creating these communities and presents the elements of good pedestrian planning. The details of how to make walkable communities a reality are covered in sections 3, 4, and 5.
