Walkability Checklist Resources
For many of us, walking is the easiest exercise, but it isn't always convenient. Many measures can be taken to improve safety and convenience and thereby encourage more use of the walking routes in your neighborhood. The following Web site links have been compiled as a companion resource to a walkability checklist created by the Pedestrian and Bicycle Information Center with funding from the U.S. Department of Transportation, and as adapted in an interactive web feature by The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.
