Sign points to pedestrian crosswalk in Washington State.New database estimates pedestrian countermeasure costs

The Pedestrian and Bicycle Information Center has created a new study and database that estimates the costs of various pedestrian and bicycle safety infrastructure.

This new resource is designed to give researchers, enginners, planners, advocates and the general public a better sense of the cost of building pedestrian and bicycle factilities. The study includes estimates and cost ranges for 77 facilities.
